College Tour: Spring Break 2015

The Counseling Department is once-again partnering with EF Tours for a college tour next spring, during Easter Break. The 2015 tour will be to eleven schools in the Mid-Atlantic states and include campus visits to George Washington, American, Georgetown, Howard, Penn, Villanova, Maryland, and Virginia among others. An information meeting for all interested families is scheduled for Wednesday, August 27th, at 6:30 pm, in the Digital Resource Center (formerly called the Library).

Christian Service Goes Paperless!

The Christian Service Program has shifted its paper-based record system to an online paperless format. You will now find our Christian Service Contract above under the "FAITH" tab. All submissions will be verified using agency contact info and filed in electronic student portfolios. COMING SOON...Look forward to seeing documentation recorded on the new Aeries system. In Memoriam: Nick DiCarlo '63

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Nick DiCarlo '63. Nick was a member of the first graduating class of Pomona Catholic Boys High School, which would become Damien HS in 1967. Services will be held this week: Viewing at Drapers on Mountain Ave in Upland Thursday, 8/21 from 5-7 pm, Rosary at Drapers on Thursday at 7 pm, Funeral Mass at Our Lady of Assumption in Claremont on Friday, 8/22 at 10 am.

Coach Andy Nieto hired as Damien's next Head Varsity Baseball Coach.

Damien High School is pleased to announce that Mr. Andy Nieto has been named the head baseball coach of the Spartans. Coach Nieto comes to Damien from Bishop Amat Memorial High School where he has been coaching since 2007. From 1997-2006, Nieto served as an assistant coach at the University of Southern California. Prior to his time at USC, Nieto was the head coach at Glendale Community College (1996-97), an assistant coach at East Los Angeles Community College (1995-96), and the head coach at Cantwell Sacred Heart of Mary High School (1990-94).
