It’s A Wonderful Life – December 10

Damien High School Drama presents "It's a Wonderful Life" by James W. Rodgers based on the film by Frank Capra and the story by Peter Van Doren Stern. The play tells the story of George Bailey, from the small town of Bedford Falls, whose dreams of escape and adventure have been quashed by family obligation and civic duty, whose guardian angel has to descend on Christmas Eve to save him from despair and to remind him—by showing him what the world would have been like had he never been born. 7th Annual Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony – December 9

Hey! Does everyone know that Santa is coming to Damien on Monday December 9? Don't miss out on our beloved Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony on Monday, December 9 @ 7 pm in the Quad. We have performances by the Damien Regiment & Color Guard, Pomona Catholic and St Lucy Choirs. Damien ASB will be hosting a sale of pizza, hot chocolate, and holiday treats, proceeds going to the 2020 senior gift. . Also, we have a special guest from the North Pole, Santa! Santa will be here to bring in the spirit of Christmas season. You don't want to miss out on getting your picture taken with Santa. And kids, bring you letters for Santa! Come and enjoy this cherished event and the start of your Christmas holiday season.


St. Monica’s Guild Meeting Annual Christmas Mass & Dinner – December 11

St. Monica's Guild is hosting an “Ugly Christmas Sweater Party” for the annual Christmas Mass & Dinner on Wednesday, December 11. Please join us for food, fun, friends, worship and prizes. The Mass is at 6:30 pm in the Chapel (Bldg. 200) followed by the dinner in the Event Center. The cost for the dinner is $15. A contest for the ugliest sweater will be hold as well as a gift exchange ($25 value) and raffle. We are asking if everyone can bring a new unwrapped toy for a boy or girl to be donation to Megan's Wings. Please RSVP by Monday, December 9 to Mrs. Christy Amrhein,

School Office Hours to Change

Spartan Families: Effective Monday, December 2, the Damien Administration Office hours will be 7:00am - 3:30pm, Monday-Friday.


Christmas Tree Fundraiser Will Support Damien Ice Hockey

Damien Ice Hockey is partnering with Star Berry Farms (San Dimas) for a team fundraiser. Spartan ice hockey players will be selling $50 vouchers for a 6-7 foot Douglas Fir Christmas Tree of your choice. This is a wonderful opportunity to pick a tree with your family. You can also use the voucher to upgrade to a different or larger tree. The team will have a table set up Monday, December 9 at the annual tree lighting ceremony. Cash or checks will be accepted. Spartan Families: Participate in the Holiday Food Collection and Christmas Toys for Tots

As every past and present Spartan will tell you, we are proud of our history of Christian service. Spartans are empowered to take responsibility and be servant-leaders, they will learn how to nurture relationships, encourage hope, transform lives, and help build a better community.


We are asking all Spartan families to participate in the annual Holiday Food Collection from November 13-December 17 and the Christmas Toys for Tots program running Dec 2-16. Non-perishable food items include rice, beans, canned goods, stuffing/potato mix, pudding/pie mix, small bags of flour/sugar. For toys: new, unwrapped toys for both boys and girls will deliver them to a Toys for Tots donation center. Collection boxes for food and toys are located throughout the campus. Damien Baseball Academy

Spartan Families: the annual Damien Baseball Academy for youth 5-14 years of age (8th grade) will be December 27 & 28, Friday and Saturday, from 10 am to 3 pm in Tom Carroll Stadium. Your big leaguer will receive professional instruction, camp t-shirt and lunch. The fee is $125.
