I am currently Vice Principal, Director of Counseling, and teacher of A.P. U.S. Government and Politics.
I first taught at Damien from 1982-1998, and returned in 2012, after 11 years (1998-2009) as a Project Manager in the technology industry (secondary school student information systems) and 3 years (2009-2012) as Co-Director of Guidance and College Counseling at Marin Catholic High School in Kentfield, CA .
At Damien I have initiated/created and taught the following courses: A.P. Government (U.S. and Comparative), A.P. European History, Economics, Music History, Law Survey, Government, Social Science 9, and Model United Nations.
As an administrator I have served (among other roles) as Assistant Principal - Student Activities, Assistant Principal - Academic Affairs, and Assistant Principal - Guidance and College Counseling.
I graduated from Occidental College (Los Angeles) with an A.B. in Economics (minor: Political Science), and from California State University, San Bernardino with an M.A. in Social Science (emphases: History, Geography, and Political Science).
