This week we celebrate Catholic Schools Week: Learn, Lead, Serve, Succeed.

• Sunday we invite you to Celebrate Your Parish.

• Monday we Celebrate our Community: The students have signed a poster for the La Verne police department. They will take it to them with some snacks.

• Tuesday we Celebrate our Students: Students in Theology class will make a poster about Catholic School Week during their class this day. When making the poster they must have 4 out of the 7 themes with in their poster theme. The posters will be judged. The class with the poster that is picked will get a pizza party.

• Wednesday we Celebrate our Nation: Christian leadership students will write letters to our service men to thank them for protecting our country.

• Thursday we Celebrate our Vocation: We express our gratitude to our Sacred Heart priests who have been so dedicated to Damien High School since its inception in 1959.

• Friday we Celebrate our Faculty, Staff and Volunteers: The students made a poster and the boys signed it for the teachers lounge along with snacks.

• Saturday we Celebrate our Families: Enjoy the day with your family; we are grateful for your sacrifices that make Catholic education possible.
