Students will finish Capitulo 1B this week and take a test on the Block Schedule days.  The test will cover pages 43-68 of the textbook.  Students should view the vocabulary relating to extracurricular activities involving sports, clubs, music, drama, computers.  Also review making comparisons (p. 53), the verbs saber and conocer (p. 56), and hace + time expressions (p. 58).

Capítulo 1A--This week students will begin ¿Qué haces en la escuela?  This chapter reviews classroom vocabulary and stem-changing verbs.  On Block Schedule Days, students will take a quiz over stem-changing verbs--definitions and conjugations.

This week students will review ser, adjectives, interrogatives, and regular -ar, -er, and -ir verbs to prepare for a quiz on Block Schedule days.

We will begin REALIDADES 2 with the Para Empezar chapter.  The main focus will be to review the verb SER and to use it with descriptive adjectives.
