PARENTS - PLEASE SUPPORT OUR FRESHMEN

“Serving in the Spirit of St. Damien” - is the Class of 2021 Christian Service-Learning Project for this school year. At the CIF quarterfinal playoff football game on Friday night, November 17, the freshmen students with parents will be collecting donations at the main entry gate. If you are able to bring food and jackets to support the service-learning program, your contribution is very much appreciated. Kick off for the game is 7:00 pm in Dick Larson Stadium. Congratulations to the Spartan Regiment

The Spartan Regiment ended their competition season at the Trabuco Hills Band Tournament. The Regiment won the High Music Award and took the Silver Medal in Division 1A.

 

Congratulations to Varsity Football

The Spartans won their CIF-SS Division IV first round game on the road, 45-28, over Paso Robles High School. The Spartans take on top-seeded Capistrano Valley High School at Dick Larson Stadium in the Quarter Final this Friday, November 17, at 7 pm. Tickets: $10 general admission; $5 children and students. All students attending must purchase a ticket.

International Baccalaureate® Diploma Programme Info Night - November 30
Mr. John Mahon, Coordinator of the IB Program at Damien High School, will host an information session for sophomore and freshmen parents.

 

The International Baccalaureate courses are designed to challenge students at the college-level. Taken over two years, IB courses emphasize the development of academic skills and personal qualities, along with the content knowledge necessary for success in higher education and life beyond.
 
5th Annual Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony - December 4
Damien High School is hosting its fifth annual Christmas Tree Lighting on Monday, December 4 at 7:00 pm in the Damien Quad. All are welcome. This special event is a perfect night for family and friends to start getting in the holiday spirit. Santa Claus will be celebrating the night with you. Santa will joyfully take photos with families. If a child has a letter for Santa, bring it! The Damien High School Band and Choral, comprised of students from Damien, Pomona Catholic High School and St. Lucy’s Priory, will be performing. The Damien service clubs will be selling some of the traditional favorites like hot cocoa and cider as well as other wonderful food and sweet treats.

St. Monica's Guild Annual Christmas Mass & Dinner/Toy Drive - December 13
St. Monica's Guild is hosting their annual Mass & Dinner to benefit Megan's Wings. All are welcome to join us for Mass, dinner, games, raffle and a toy drive. Megan's Wings provides help and services to families of children with cancer. It is our wish to ease the burdens of cancer on families and aid in the search for a cure. Cost is $10 per person.
