RIVERSIDE - Without any individual champions at Saturday's CIF-Southern Section Division 2 swimming finals at the Riverside Aquatics Center at Riverside Community College, Damien coach Andrew Gates knew the stars had to align for the Spartans to win their first team title since 2001.
It's DTV's second to last episode and they are no where near slowing down! This episode starts off with a touching tribute to Mr. Jim Dineen, a Damien faculty member for 41 years, who recently passed away. This episode also includes the 7th installment of "Spartans Through Time" a look back on both Prom and the Service fair as well as segments concerning the Let it Be foundation and of course Sportzone! Jacob and Ruben also give an update on House news, including a look at last weeks Flag Football competitions.
Dear freshmen parents and students,
Our upcoming Damien Day in the Community is dedicated to a freshmen day of service in celebration of Earth Day. Centered on the theme of "Our Global Responsibility to the Environment," the freshmen class will complement their Freshman Seminar: Global Issues/Debate curriculum by serving the local environment on Saturday, April 21 from 8am to 1pm. All freshmen are required to fulfill this service project as part of their Freshman Seminar curriculum. If a student is unable to participate on Saturday, April 21, they must complete an alternate project on their own. See your Freshman Seminar teacher for more details.

Please return the completed volunteer permission form to your Freshman Seminar teacher on Monday, April 16th.
