You are to write a ½ page on the best movie you’ve seen this year, along with a brief synopsis, why you liked it, why you think it should win best picture, and any other award presented at the Oscars (I.E. Best sound editing, best supporting actor, best costume design, etc.)
Type it up and share it with me.

PRODUCER RESEARCH ESSAY
Now that you have a more in depth understanding of Producers, it is time for you to do some research on some of the greats.
You are to watch a movie at home that was produced by one of the greats or one of your favorite producers. You cannot use a film that we saw in Cinematic Arts One or Two. Once you are done viewing the film, you are to type up a 1 1/2-page essay describing the film you saw along with information on the producer.
The essay should focus on the following:
A brief synopsis of the film
A brief biography on the individual producer
Some of their best films
Their individual contributions to the film industry
The era in which they worked (I.E. the 1920’s, 30’s 90’s,)
How the era in which they worked had an impact on their style of work
Did this individual inspire any producers or individuals in the film industry?
What impact did this individual have on you? Do you respect their work/style?
You are free to type out any other information you would like on the individual. The elements above are simply there to aid you in this essay.
The essay must be 1 1/2 complete page(s), double-spaced, size 12 font, and times new roman.
The way to ensure you get the best grade possible on this assignment is to turn it in completely done, on time. It will also help to do as much research as you can on the individual as it will give you more to write about.
Good luck!

Inspiration in Movies
We all watch films for a multitude of reasons; a horror film to be sacred, a comedy to have a few laughs, but what about a film that brings inspiration to you. Many films have inspirational moments, but no moment is better than the inspirational speech.
Your assignment is to find an inspirational speech that stands out to you in any film.
You will be presenting this speech in class, so make sure you have your lines memorized.
Send me the URL Link to the speech that you will be making, along with the scripted speech itself.
