Eligibility Requirements

To apply for enrollment in Damien High School’s International Student Program, each student must meet the following minimum requirements:

• Be of high school age, 14 to 19 years old

• Have an academic grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 or above on a 4.0 scale

• Able to provide strong academic and character references that identify a level of maturity necessary for success in an American high school

• Possess demonstrated qualities that are essential to intercultural adjustment such as flexibility, open-mindedness, curiosity, tolerance for personal error, a sense of humor, and the ability to adapt to an unfamiliar environment
