The mission of the Catholic Education Foundation (CEF) is to provide financial aid to the most financially deserving students attending Catholic elementary and high schools within the Archdiocese of Los Angeles. The average award amount: $2,000 per student.
Due to the large number of applicants within the Los Angeles archdiocese, CEF has a limited amount of funding available and sets strict income guidelines. Please verify that you and your household meet CEF's income guidelines for financial eligibility before you apply (see CEF Income Eligibility 2024-25 PDF below).

CEF will host in-person interviews at Damien High School on November 15, 2024. All families who meet the eligibility requirements are encouraged to attend and schedule an appointment here. All applications and documents must be completed and submitted to Damien High School by January 1, 2025 in order to apply for CEF for the 2025-26 school year.
If you are cannot attend these in-person interviews, you can apply with a paper applications.

Please be aware that CEF awards are granted on a first-come, first-serve basis. CEF’s award announcements are generally made in April.
