U.S. History-Period 7 Assignments

These are the templates for part 2 of chapter 14. I will post the notes on Wednesday. They will be due on Sunday.

I have attached the notes for you to review. There are notes that I typed for you and several short videos in the Slides presentation for you to watch. Also attached is a list of questions for you to answer. Read the notes and watch the videos to answer the attached questions. Answer the questions in the area that was left blank under Unit 9 Work document that I sent you last week. You do not have to retype the question. Just put the number and the answers. When done submit the Unit 9 Work document here for credit. We will go over the answers at our next class meeting next week. This assignment is due on Sunday at 11:59 pm. See you all next week.

I deleted the old assignment. I included a copy of the template on this assignment in case you have not started it already. Remember, the answers to the "Notes Questions" goes under the "Notes" section of the "Unit 9 Work" Doc (which you should have been working on already).

You must write at least two (2) full paragraphs in response to the question. Use specific details from the text or notes. This is due by Wednesday 3:00 pm. You do not have to respond to any of your classmate's posts this week because you will be taking a test on Friday.

Based on what you have learned from classroom lectures, discussions, and the textbook, answer the question in a minimum of 6 sentences. Use evidence from your text or an credible online source to support your opinion. You must use at least one quote, that is subject appropriate, in your answer.
Your answers are due by 3 pm Wednesday. 2 replies to classmate's posts are due by Friday 3 pm (but not before 4 pm Wednesday).

This Quiz will open at 8 am on tomorrow. You will have until Sunday at 11:59 to complete it. Make sure that you have studied your notes and vocab. There are a total of 10 correct answers for a total of 20 points. Good luck.

This is the extra credit assignment. It must be completed using Google Slides. All responses must be in paragraph form. This is due by next Friday, no exceptions.

You and your partner will research each inventor and complete the chart provided.

On a Google Doc, write a minimum of 4 paragraphs in response to the following prompt:

- What are the differences and similarities between the original 2 Presidencies and the Presidency today.

The first paragraph should be an introduction, second paragraph is the similarities, the third paragraph the differences, and the last paragraph a conclusion. Be specific. This is not about Washington vs. Trump. It is about the way the office worked. What were the rules? How were the elections ran? It's about the office, not the people.

This is due by midnight tonight (11/13/19).

Please complete the quiz without looking at your notes, text, or the internet so that I know exactly what you know. Also, don't forget to submit the Columbus assignment by 2:25 as well.
