Step 1: Choose a solo - you can find a solo in your Standard of Excellence book page 36-37 or choose one on your own. The sheet music and audio can also be found on SmartMusic. This is a great tool to practice your solo.
Step 2: Start practicing today!!!
Step 3: Then when you are ready to record your solo, I suggest using a metronome in your ear (AirPods, earphones) to accurately keep time and count your rests. Don't forget to wear concert black attire (tie optional). 
Step 4: Submit your solo video (not just audio) by Monday, June 1.

You may use the Clips apps (record, edit and make poster slides) or https://www.screencastify.com (record's your desktop screen) to create your video. Explain the following items:
-Treble or Bass Clef (what is it? where is it located? what's another name for it? why is it important?)
-Time Signature (what is it? where is it located? why do we need it?)
-How to Read Notes (what tricks are there for remembering "Every Good Band Does Fine"? where are they located? what can they look like?)
