Step 1: Choose a solo - you can find a solo in your Standard of Excellence book page 36-37 or choose one on your own. The sheet music and audio can also be found on SmartMusic. This is a great tool to practice your solo.
Step 2: Start practicing today!!!
Step 3: Then when you are ready to record your solo, I suggest using a meternome in your ear (AirPods, earphones) to accurately keep time and count your rests. Don't forget to wear concert black attire (tie optional).

Create a music video lesson explaining how to the music staff to someone that doesn’t know anything about music. Include pictures and videos as needed. Be as specific as possible when explaining. You may use the Clips apps (record, edit and make poster slides) or https://www.screencastify.com (record's your desktop screen) to create your video. Explain the following items:

Create an Acapella song with your partner. Watch La Vie en Rose by Blue Stars Drum & Bulge Corps as an example. You may play any instrument and choose any song (SmartMusic or sheet music from the internet). The song length must be a minimum of 1 minute and have at least 4 split screens (with everyone's face visible). You may use Apple Users: Acapella app (free) or iMovie Android Users: Acapella Maker to record/edit your song. Attached are Acapella and iMovie tutorials. Be creative and have fun!
