Reminder: Test on Wednesday (9/24/14): Chapter 4-5. Most questions will come from Chapter #5. Ch #4 questions will cover evolutionary psychology for the most part.

 

ch #5: Know the stage theories of Piaget / Kohlberg / Erickson. Know Gilligan (Kohlberg critic).  Parenting styles are important to remember, as are details such as Schemas (Accommodation / Assimilation), Imprinting, zygote, embryo and fetal stages, teratogens, Harlow's attachment studies, Ainsworth's "Strange Situation" study. Conservation / object permanence, puberty, primary/secondary sexual characteristics.

 

Remember: We looked at the physical, social, and cognitive changes in our lives at: infancy, childhood, adolescence, and adulthood!!
