Damien basketball is a member of the Baseline League and the California Interscholastic Federation. The Spartans play in Division 1, the highest ranked division in the State.
The Spartans have won CIF State titles in 2016 and 2022.
They are coached by Mike LeDuc, who has led the team for 40 years across two stints.
