The International Student Program is hosting the 6th Annual Cultural Awareness & Lunar New Year Celebration (Year of the Dog) on Thursday, February 15, in the Damien High School Event Center.

Damien is a diverse community that recognizes the beauty and uniqueness of each individual, their families and heritage. Students, faculty, staff, parents, family and friends come together to organize this event.

This year, the food, fun and games will be plentiful. On the menu: Vietnamese Pho, Korean BBQ, Orange Chicken, Crepes and much much more. Activities and performances include noodle eating contest, ping pong, German heritage dancing, Japanese drums, traditional Chinese lion dance, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu demonstration, Pinata break, Zodiac Sign display, DJ Logic on the wheels of steel and the Damien High School Jazz Band.
