Rough cuts of shot list

Today, you along with your group members will be creating an extremely rough cut of the shots you will need for your video that you will begin filing.

END OF THE YEAR - FINAL PROJECT

MUCH HAS BEEN LEARNED THROUGHOUT THE YEAR, FROM THE RULE OF THIRDS, TO THE BASIC FRAMING OF A SUBJECT. NOW IS YOUR TIME TO SHOW ME EVERYTHING THAT YOU HAVE LEARNED THIS YEAR.

FOR THIS PROJECT, YOU WILL COMPILE 10 PHOTOS OF WHATEVER SUBJECT MATTER YOU WANT, AS LONG AS IT IS APPROPRIATE.

THE 10 PHOTOS MUST INCLUDE 2 RULE OF THIRDS, 2 UNDEREXPOSED PHOTOS, 2 OVEREXPOSED PHOTOS, 2 LANDSCAPE PHOTOS, and 2 PORTRAIT PHOTOS.

PUT ALL 10 PHOTOS INTO A POWER POINT.

PLEASE HAVE THESE THINGS DONE BY THE DAY OF THE FINAL, NO LATE PROJECTS WILL BE ACCEPTED AFTER THE DAY OF THE FINAL.

GOOD LUCK MEN, HAVE FUN WITH THIS, AND THANKS FOR AN AWESOME YEAR!

ON THE DAY OF THE FINAL, BE PREPARED TO WRITE OUT A PAGE SUMMARY ON THE SCHOOL YEAR AS A WHOLE.  A PROMPT WILL BE GIVEN TO YOU ON THE DAY OF THE FINAL.

FINAL PROJECT IS WORTH 100 POINTS.

FINAL WRITE UP IS WORTH 50 POINTS

DUE DATE IS FRIDAY JUNE 1ST.

Information Regarding Art Show

In terms of the Art Show this Saturday (05/05/18) ...
 
WHEN: Arrive no later than 3:45 PM, should go no later than 5 PM.
 
WHERE: It's in the Event Center.
 
ATTIRE: Please be wearing something nice, it doesn't necessarily have to be Mass dress but it is encouraged.
 
SIDE NOTE: Please be prepared to say something very small in regards to what your position was in the group. If you can not make it this Saturday, please have a parent or guardian notify me.

ART SHOW IS THIS SATURDAY, MAY 5TH... IN ACTIVITY CENTER

The Visual Performing Arts Department welcomes all family, friends and fellow Spartans to the second annual festival on Saturday, May 5 from 2 pm to 8 pm in the Event Center. The event is open to the community. Admission is free. The festival showcases student accomplishments, creations and works during the 2017-18 academic year. With over 250 pieces of art on display and performances, this is an art walk you won’t want to miss. VPA is comprised of Theatre Arts, Cinematic Arts and Music. The schedule for the day: exhibits on display during entire event, Theatre Arts performance at 3 pm, Cinematic Arts short film series at 4 pm, and the Jazz band takes stage at 5 pm. Come on out and support the Arts!

Film Adaptation Individual Work Information

Producer: Production Schedule is due Friday May 4th. Must have at least ten dates on it. PRINT IT OUT.
 
Director: Marked Script is due Friday May 18th. Must have at least 50 markings.
 
Scriptwriter: Script is due Friday May 11th. Script must be in the original format we went over for your first project and must be at least ten pages long. PRINT IT OUT.
 
Cameraman: Shot list is due Friday May 18th. Must have at least 50 shots. PRINT IT OUT.
 
Editor: Edit log is due Wednesday May 23rd. Must have at least ten edit sessions. PRINT IT OUT.
 
Artist: Story board is due Wednesday May 23rd. Must have at least ten pages, remember to use color and add a short sentence per square. 
 
Actor: Actor essay is due Wednesday May 23rd. It must be at least a page and a half long. PRINT IT OUT.

Shot List - - Template

Attached is the template for creating the shot list. - - For this first project you must put together at least 20 shots. Remember to make sure the timing of all the shots adds up to a minute and a half to two minutes.
