2.  Know the content in Pure Manhood or Pure Love by Jason Evert.  Read it twice and understand why Jesus calls you to a life of chastity and purity.
 
3.  Know the contents of the Salvation History Timeline that you created.  You will be able to use the Timeline you created on the test.  
 
You should be able to explain the following:
 
What is the story of our salvation starting with Adam and Eve and ending with Christ and the Church?  Know all the Time Periods in the Timeline and how they tell the story of our salvation.
 
What are the covenants that God formed with us from Adam and Eve until now?
 
Why is the Eucharist the forever covenant?
 
Who are the people that are in the bloodline of Jesus?
 
What are the historical books in the Bible that tell the story of our salvation?
 
4.  Know the Time Period of Jesus and the Gospels and how The Messianic Fulfillment came about.  Know how Jesus fulfills everything that came before him in the Old Testament.  Be able to explain how the Old Testament is the New Testament concealed and the New Testament is the Old Testament revealed.
 
5.  Know the content of the Gospel of Luke as we have read in class.  Know the general outline of the life of Jesus according to Luke:  
 
-the birth of John the Baptist, the last prophet in the Bible
-the birth of Jesus
-the presentation of Jesus in the Temple
-the finding of the child Jesus in the Temple
-the Baptism of Jesus
-the Temptation of Jesus in the desert by Satan
-know one of Jesus' miracles in detail
-know that Jesus had 12 disciples
-know that the first Pope was St. Peter
-know one statement Jesus made in the Sermon on the Plain
-know one of Jesus' parables in detail
-know the event of Jesus' cleansing the Temple
-know the Passion Narrative:  Jesus is condemned to death, Jesus is scourged, crowned with thorns, Jesus carries His cross, Jesus dies on the cross, Jesus is buried, Jesus descends into hell, and then...
-know that after three days, JESUS ROSE FROM THE DEAD!!!!!!!  
-know that we must keep our eyes fixed at all times on the Risen Lord!!!!
-know that Jesus appears to His disciples for 40 days and then He ascends

10.  Know that Jesus established One Holy Catholic Church
11.  Know that Jesus sends the Holy Spirit down upon us at our Baptism and Confirmation
12.  Know Who the Trinity is:  Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.  Know who each person in the Trinity is.  Know the Triangle Diagram we made in class of the Trinity and the Family as the Icon of the Trinity.
13.  Know that the Acts of the Apostles tells the story of the Early Church.  
-Know that Stephen is the first martyr.

-Name one statement of Peter from Acts.
