Michael Carter '05 had the greatest day in Damien swimming history on Friday, May 13, when he won two individual events and was part of a 1st and 2nd place relay at the CIF Southern Section Division 1 Swim Finals. All four swims set school records. Michael is attending (and swimming at) Princeton University.

Damien High School is an all-boys, Catholic high school, located in La Verne, California. Damien fields 28 teams in 11 sports, competing in the Sierra League. In the 2004-2005 school year, Damien athletes won 1 CIF Championship, 6 Sierra League team championships, and competed in CIF playoffs in 9 sports.

Catcher Errol Hollinger '05 led the Spartans in home runs last season. He is playing this year on scholarship at Liberty University.
Tony Vela '05 was named CIF DIVISION I DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE YEAR, and MVP of the SIERRA LEAGUE. He is playing at Biola University.
CIF CHAMPS: Kenny Horne's goal late in the 2nd half led the Spartans to a 3-2 victory over Esperanza, for Damien's first ever CIF soccer championship. Kenny was Damien's scoring leader throughout the season. He is playing at Cal State Northridge.
