Summer Trip To Europe!

Attention Travelers! The Damien High School Summer Experience is once again preparing to embark on a journey to Europe.  Our 2011 summer tip begins in the eternal city of Rome, Italy and ends in Madrid, Spain.  Our itinerary also includes fantastic days in Assisi, Florence, Pisa, and Barcelona, along with a cruise across the Mediterranean. Students win prizes in Notre Dame essay contest

Congratulations to Spartans Ben Lopez and James Thornton on their award winning essays. Ben and James participated in the Schubmehl-Prein Competition put on by the University of Notre Dame Dept of Computer Science. Ben and James placed 2nd and 3rd, respectively.  This marks the 5th year in a row that Damien students have earned awards in this annual essay contest for high school juniors.
 

2010 New Year Message From The Principal

Welcome to the 2010-2011 school year! As we enter another academic calendar year, many exciting things are happening at Damien High School.  My name is Sam Pearsall, 1982 Damien graduate, and I am the school’s new Principal.

As many of you are aware, Fr. Pat Travers, SS.CC., our Principal for thirty years, is now the school President.  His school responsibilities will include being the school’s spiritual leader, oversee finances, fundraising, marketing and community relations, and act as CEO of the school’s Consultative Board.  He will also continue to direct the Tijuana Mission Outreach.

New Parents Orientation

Coming up on Sept. 7, 9 & 14, all at 7 p.m. at the priests' residence. Invitations have been sent out which will have which date you should attend.
This meeting is a requirement for all parents of freshmen and transfer students.  We ask that at least one parent be in attendance. Please use the parking lot south of the administration building and enter the residence through the courtyard.  There will be student guides to assist you.
