Parent Groups

In upholding the view that parents are the primary educators of their children, Damien High School values and welcomes parent involvement within the school community.  Most prominently, two parent organizations – St. Monica’s Guild and the Athletic Booster Club – function to support the mission and philosophy of Damien.

St. Monica’s Guild

Following the example of Saint Monica who was tenacious, patient and persistent in her prayers for her son, all Damien High School mothers are automatically members of our St. Monica’s Guild. The Guild’s primary purpose is to support charitable, religious and educational activities and programs. Any funds raised are for the education, religious and social work of the school and the operating expenses of the Guild. It is a great way to connect with other parents. The group meets the second Wednesday of every month at 7 pm. Each time a parent attends the meeting, you will earn one hour towards your annual family service hours.

Athletic Booster Club

The purpose of the Athletic Booster Club is to support the athletic teams, at all levels, representing Damien High School. . All Damien High School fathers are automatically members and many mothers are welcomed as members. The group meets monthly to support athletic teams and help with volunteering at competitions, school events and fundraising needs.
