8th Grade Algebra 1 Challenge Exam

The Algebra 1 Challenge Exam will take place in the 300 Building on May 10th at 9:00 AM (please arrive by 8:45).

The purpose of this exam is to provide all incoming 9th grade students presently enrolled in Algebra 1A and Algebra 1 with the opportunity to qualify for a higher-level Math course.  Students who do not take the exam will be enrolled in the Math course for which they are presently signed up.

The exam will be administered in two parts, covering all material in our Algebra 1 curriculum.  Part 1 will cover topics taught during the first semester and part 2 will cover topics taught during the second semester (found in "Algebra 1 Topics" below). Students should bring a scientific (non-graphing) calculator, that is at least capable of finding square roots.

I look forward to seeing you all there !!
