I have been a high school science teacher for 26 years, including this year. I have been here at Damien High School for the past 20 years, including this year, and I taught at St. Lucy's High School from 1994-2000. I am currently the Dean of Curriculum and was the Science Department Chair from 2012-2019. I have taught: Introduction to Design (the 1st year of the Engineering curriculum), Chemistry in the Community, Honors Chemistry, Chemistry, Honors Biology, Biology, AP Biology, Earth Science and Anatomy & Physiology. I graduated from St. Lucy's High School and earned my undergraduate degree at UC San Diego. After teaching at St. Lucy's I went back to school to earn a Masters in Public Administration from the University of La Verne. I love teaching and I love science.....mostly I love seeing the passion and connections the students make while learning!
