Physics (Period 3)

 This class explains how the world works.  We will explore how to launch a rocket and be able to predict where it will land, we will calculate how to make a survivable bungie jump, and a whole series of other projects and labs that are sure to ensnare the mind and bewitch the soul.  Soon you'll be attending baseball games and amazing your friends by calculating how high the ball went with a simple stopwatch.  You will surely catch the eye of every girl with your knowledge of the inner workings of roller coasters.  And you'll be calculating your way to Mars in no time!

 

This class is an introductory level class and so will only require familiarity with algebra and a little trigonometry.  (the trig will be taught in class if you're concerned)  No calculus at all.

 

A scientific calculator will be necessary.
