Geometry - Period 4

Course Objectives To become familiar with the basic tools of geometry including reasoning and proofs, points, lines, planes, segments, and rays. To use these tools of geometry to prove angles, triangles, and quadrilaterals congruent, to prove lines to be parallel or perpendicular, and to find trigonometric relationships in triangles. To learn and use various formulas for finding the area, surface area, and volume of various geometric figures including triangles, quadrilaterals, circles, kites, pyramids, cones, and spheres.
